WIP for next illustration assignment. i have to finish up on this quickly, since i also need to finish sketches and send them off to a woman for our NEXT project (which involves legit real world context aka: my illustration could be on shirts and tote bags, excitement!)
its very flat to me right now, ill find a way to make the eye move more smoothly throughout the piece by the end of the night.

well...that's kinda the point :P
i wanted the piece to be broken up by graphic shapes. i can try fiddling with it to lessen the extremity...
can the spider's be gushing blood from the lion bite...
or what if he/she was gushing rainbows... or some sort of multi-colored liquid...
all i know is that I want an ink spray from the bite of the lion to make it look like the spider is in crazy pain...

oh green blood is a definite. if i had time i'd experiment with more graphic liquid, but alas =(
